CSIR - NAL Walk In Interview for " Project Assistant " M.Sc, BE/B.Tech, MA , ME/ M.Tech on 19 February 2013 Bangalore

Desired Profile :  CSIR Centre for Mathematical Modeling and Computer Simulation (CMMACS), Bangalore desires to engage qualified Candidates for filling up of 20 Positions of Project Assistants on purely Temporary and on contract basis under various Network Projects at CMMACS, Bangalore. 

The minimum educational qualifications, experience, Consolidated Stipend and age limit prescribed for engagement of Project Assistants are as under: 

PROJECT ASSISTANT: Level II (11 Positions):
Consolidated Stipend Rs.15,000/- PM
Age limit: 28 years
Qualification: First Class M.Sc in Atmospheric Science / Oceanography / Physics / Mathematics / Statistics / Agricultural Sciences / Life Sciences OR BE / B.Tech in Environmental Engineering OR First Class MA in Economics / Sociology OR Recognized equivalent qualifications.
Job Requirements: Modelling, simulation and analysis using computer simulation models and graphical representations.
Desirable (Experience): Familiarity with mathematical/statistical analysis and computer programming and graphics.
PROJECT ASSISTANT: Level III (6 Positions):
Consolidated Stipend Rs.18,000/- PM
Age limit: 32 years
Qualification: First Class M.Sc in Atmospheric Science / Oceanography / Physics / Mathematics / Statistics / Agricultural Sciences/ Life Sciences with 2 years experience OR ME/ M.Tech in Atmospheric Sciences / Environmental Engineering OR Recognized equivalent qualifications.
Job Requirements: Modelling, simulation and analysis using computer simulation models and graphical representations.
Desirable (Experience): Familiarity with mathematical/statistical analysis and computer programming and graphics.
PROJECT ASSISTANT: Level IV (3 Positions):
Consolidated Stipend Rs.25,000/- PM
Age limit: 35 years
Qualification: Ph.D in Atmospheric Sciences / Physics / Mathematics / Statistics / Environmental Engineering.
Job Requirements: Modelling, simulation and analysis using computer simulation models and graphical representations.
Desirable (Experience): Familiarity with mathematical/statistical analysis and computer programming and graphics. Proven experience and expertise as evidenced by publications in SCI journals.
NOTE : The above positions are purely Temporary and on Contract basis for the duration of the Project. The contract may be terminated at any time by giving onemonth s notice by either side.

Date of Walk-in-Interview: Depending upon the number of Candidates present, Writen Test followed by Interview will be held on Tuesday 19 February 2013 from 9.00 AM onwards at the Committee Room, Committee Complex, CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories, P.B. No.1779, HAL Airport Road (Opposite Manipal Hospital), Kodihalli, Bangalore 17. Written Test / Interviews may also be continued, if required, on Wednesday 20 February 2013 and the candidates are advised to be prepared for such an eventuality. Candidates coming after 10.00 AM will not be entertained nor interviewed under any circumstances.
