    Contract Engineer (Technical Support/Helpdesk Executive) :

Qualification                   :Full time Bachelors Engineering Degree in Electronics & Communications/Computer Science & IT/MCA from a recognized Institute/ University.

Or

Graduation in any stream with Post Graduation Diploma in IT/Computer Science/Networking/ Software Development.

Age limit                    :Maximum 35 years as on 01.05.2013

Minimum Experience :For Engineering Degree/MCA holders : 2 years post qualification experience in the field of Application Development/Operation.

        For Graduation with P.G. Diploma : 4 years post qualification experience in the field of Application Development/Operation.

Consolidated Emoluments   : Rs. 20,000/- p.m.

Candidate Profile :

Experience in managing/administering portal based applications and providing customer support. Good command over English, Hindi and Gurmukhi languages, systematic approach and professional work attitude with high customer-orientation.

The candidate should be fluent in speaking/reading Gurmukhi language.

Job Profile :      The job would involve managing/administering high-tech e-procurement portal, providing onsite technical support/training and online/telephonic support to end-users of TCIL’s e-procurement portal.

Contract Period : 6 months initially.

Necessary Instructions  : -

    Walk-in Interview shall be held on 20/09/2013 between 10:00 and 15:30 Hrs at the following address:
    House No. 1180, Sector – 63, Mohali, Chandigarh (Behind Cricket Stadium)

    Interested applicant shall  be required to bring  his/her filled application form in prescribed format (available at TCIL website:  www.tcil-india.com ) and  one copy of proof of age, qualifications, & experience certificates (self-attested) along with two passport size photographs. Applicants are also required to bring their original certificates for verification purpose. Please note TCIL will not be able to conduct interviews for such candidates who will not produce original copies of their certificates/documents at the time of interview.

    The position is purely on contract basis and the services of selected person can be terminated after giving one month notice without assigning any reason. No claim for regular employment in TCIL from person to be employed on contract shall be admissible accordingly.

    The contract period will be for six months which may be extended based on performance of the candidate and requirements of the project.

    Age relaxation in respect of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. of India guidelines.

    Candidates working in Govt. organization/PSU shall apply through proper channel. However a copy of the application may be sent in advance for consideration.

    Experience in the relevant field shall be calculated from the date of attaining the minimum essential qualification(s) upto the last date of receipt of applications.
